As a short film on the acceptance of a disabled dog, this insightful little animation is a lesson in self-acceptance. We each of us have mirrored back to us, tenderly + uncomfortably, all the things which frighten us, all the things we are judgemental about, and all the lessons we need to learn.

This young man saw disability preventing him from having a fulfilling life, from being accepted, from being loved, and stopped him from genuinely accepting himself. He reacted with disgust at the puppy, who only knew cheeky playfulness + complete acceptance.

Through the puppy, he begins to take the tiny first step in loving himself as a person, rather than being defined by his disability.

Beautiful + powerful.
